Anthony Davis out for Lakers vs. Bulls

The Lakers won’t have Anthony Davis in the lineup on Friday night against the Bulls because of an adductor strain.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without their All-Star forward Anthony Davis on Friday.

The team confirmed Davis will sit out against the Bulls because of an adductor strain.

The Lakers will also face a fourth game without Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is dealing with an ankle sprain.

Davis is averaging 22.4 points per game this season along with 9.1 rebounds.

In Thursday night’s 118-109 loss to the Spurs, the big man had 23 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and a steal.

The Lakers will undoubtedly miss his presence as they search for their seventh win this season. Though there is no replacement for a player like Davis, head coach Frank Vogel has indicated he will move Kyle Kuzma into the starting lineup as a result of his absence.

The Bulls are also coming off a loss. On Wednesday they were beaten 128-124 by the Kings.
